Tickets and information

The main ticket office is opposite platforms 16 and 17, and is open 24 hours a day. There is a second ticket office opposite platform 2, with additional ticket machines on the concourse. Train details can be obtained from the information point on the concourse or alternatively please call:

Payphones can be found at each end of the main concourse.

Taxis

Taxis are available in Cab Road, through the main arch (exit 3).

Buses

Buses depart from several points around the station.

Toilets and baby changing

Toilets and baby changing facilities are located opposite platforms 17 – 19. A charge of 20p is levied for the use of these facilities.

Accessible toilets are available at the top of the stairs to the ladies toilets opposite platforms 17/18, and for RADAR key holders there is an additional facility on Cab Road, through exit 3 on the left.

Underground

Bakerloo, Northern, Jubilee and Waterloo and City lines serve this station.

Entrances to the Underground are as follows:

Steps from platforms 1 – 18

Via escalator near platforms 18 – 19

Steps in the centre of the concourse near platform 5

For the Jubilee line, via escalator opposite platforms 4 – 5

Cash and Bureau de Change

There are cash dispensers located throughout the station. See Waterloo map.

Bureau de Change facilities are available on platforms 11 and 12 and at exit 5.

Luggage Trolleys

Luggage trolleys are available at many sites on the concourse and on the platforms. A deposit of £1 will be returned to you when you take the trolley back to one of the trolley points.

Bicycles

There are bicycle storage racks on Cab Road and halfway down platforms 5 – 6, 11 – 12, 13 – 14 and 19.

Left luggage

Left Luggage (storage of items) is a secure place where you can leave items of luggage for collection later. This is located between platforms 11 and 12. Open 07:00 - 23:00 Mon to Sun. A small charge is made for this service. Please call +44 (0)20 7401 8444 or click here for more information.

Lost property

The lost property office is located in Lower Road, down the escalators or lift opposite platforms 4 and 5 (Exit 2), turn right, and turn right again. Open Monday to Friday 07.30 to 19.00 Telephone (13.00 to 16.00): 020 7401 7861.

Photo booths

Photo booths are located near exits 1 and 2 and can be used for passports, travel passes and other identity documents.

Waterloo East station

Waterloo East station can be reached via the stairs, escalator or lift next to Burger King and opposite platforms 11 and 12. Waterloo East provides services to south east London, Kent and East Sussex. The station is operated by South Eastern trains.

The station reception can provide you with information about disabled access, local transport links, parking and station facilities (including left luggage, public toilets, bicycle racks, shops and restaurants).
